I am actually quite fond of this picture.
I love trying to photograph real life, scenes that are mundane and ordinary to my every day, but putting them into an artistic perspective.
The woman on the train is doing nothing special, just sitting riding the train to her destination, yet I made her the point of focus, where is she going? Where has she come from? This is a snapshot of this woman’s life, one she is not even aware I captured. A moment of her life that I encapsulated onto film. A moment probably just like a million others, but a moment that has meaning to me. A photograph I share.
How interesting, the mundane to one is art and beauty to another.
